Moving to another city? We handle the long haul — dedicated vehicles, real-time tracking, and a crew that ensures your belongings arrive exactly as they left.

An intercity move isn't just a longer version of a local move. The distances are greater, the transit times are longer, and the risks are higher. Your belongings spend hours — sometimes days — on the road, passing through varying weather conditions, road surfaces, and handling checkpoints.
That's why intercity moves require a fundamentally different approach: stronger packing, dedicated vehicles (no sharing with other shipments), proper securing inside the truck, real-time tracking, and transit insurance for high-value items. We've built our intercity moving service around these principles.
Whether you're moving from Bengaluru to Mumbai, Delhi to Hyderabad, Chennai to Kolkata, or any other city-to-city route across India, the process and quality remain consistent. We operate our own fleet and partner with vetted transporters on routes where we don't have direct coverage.
Every intercity move starts with a thorough survey — either an in-person visit or a detailed video call. We inventory every item, note fragile and high-value pieces, assess access conditions at both locations (lifts, staircases, parking, lane width), and determine the right vehicle size.
We also plan the route — factoring in distance, road conditions, toll plazas, state border checkpoints, and estimated transit time. For long-distance moves (1,000+ km), we plan rest stops and driver rotations to ensure safe driving throughout.
Intercity packing is more rigorous than local packing. Every item gets an extra layer of protection because it will be in transit for a longer period and over rougher roads.
Fragile items are double-wrapped — first in bubble wrap, then in foam sheets, and placed in double-walled corrugated boxes with crumpled paper filling any gaps. Furniture is wrapped in thick moving blankets secured with stretch film. Appliances are packed in their original boxes when available, or in custom-built wooden crates for high-value items.
Every box is sealed with industrial-grade tape and labelled with contents, destination room, and a unique tracking number. The complete inventory is documented in a packing list that you receive a copy of.
Loading for intercity moves follows a strict protocol. Heavy items (refrigerators, washing machines, wardrobes) go in first, placed against the walls of the truck. Medium items fill the middle. Fragile boxes are placed on top and in protected positions.
Everything is secured with ratchet straps, rope ties, and wooden braces to prevent any shifting during transit. The truck is sealed after loading, and you receive a seal number for verification at delivery.
Your belongings travel in a dedicated vehicle — we don't share space with other customers' shipments on intercity routes. This eliminates the risk of mix-ups and reduces handling (no intermediate loading/unloading at warehouses).
Once the truck departs, we share the vehicle number, driver's name and contact, and a GPS tracking link via WhatsApp. You can check the truck's location at any time. Our operations team also sends proactive updates at key milestones — departure, state border crossings, and estimated arrival time.
At the destination city, our local team (or our partner crew, if it's a city where we use vetted partners) receives the truck. They verify the seal number, unload everything room by room, and place items as directed.
If you've opted for unpacking and setup, the team opens boxes, places items, and reassembles furniture. You walk through the inventory checklist with the team lead, verify that everything has arrived in good condition, and sign off on the delivery.
We handle intercity moves across all major Indian routes. Some of our most frequently served corridors include:
Intercity pricing depends on four main factors: volume of items (home size), distance between cities, vehicle type, and whether you want full packing or transport-only. Here's a general guide:
1 BHK (short distance, 200–400 km): ₹12,000 to ₹22,000 — includes full packing, dedicated vehicle, and basic setup at destination.
1 BHK (long distance, 800–1,500 km): ₹18,000 to ₹32,000 — higher due to fuel, tolls, and longer transit time.
2 BHK (short distance): ₹20,000 to ₹35,000 — includes complete packing, furniture handling, and dedicated 14-ft container.
2 BHK (long distance): ₹30,000 to ₹50,000 — includes all services plus transit insurance recommendation.
3 BHK (short distance): ₹30,000 to ₹50,000 — larger vehicle, extended crew, comprehensive packing.
3 BHK (long distance): ₹45,000 to ₹75,000 — includes everything, with optional unpacking and setup service.
4+ BHK / Villa: ₹60,000 to ₹1,20,000+ — depends on volume, distance, and special items requiring custom crating.
These ranges are indicative. Your actual quote will be based on the specific inventory from your survey, the exact route, and any special requirements. Every quote is fully itemised.
We strongly recommend transit insurance for all intercity moves, especially for moves over 500 km or when transporting high-value items. Our insurance covers accidental damage during loading, transit, and unloading — including road accidents, overturning, fire, and natural disasters.
The premium is typically 1.5% to 3% of the declared value of insured items. You can choose to insure everything or only specific high-value items (electronics, artwork, antiques). Our team explains the coverage details, exclusions, and claim process when sharing your quote.
In case of damage, the claims process is straightforward: document the damage with photographs at the time of delivery, file a claim within 48 hours, and our team coordinates with the insurance provider for assessment and settlement. Most claims are resolved within 15 to 30 working days.
Transit time depends on the distance. Short routes (150–400 km) are typically completed in 1 day. Medium routes (400–1,000 km) take 2–3 days. Long routes (1,000–2,000 km) take 3–5 days. We share an estimated delivery date when you book, and provide real-time updates during transit.
Yes. Once the truck departs, we share a GPS tracking link via WhatsApp. You can check the vehicle's location at any time. Our operations team also sends proactive updates at key milestones — departure confirmation, state border crossings, and estimated arrival time.
If there's a gap between your move-out and move-in dates, we offer warehousing and storage services. Your belongings are stored in our secure, insured warehouse facility and delivered to your new home when you're ready. Storage is charged based on volume and duration.
We can arrange car and two-wheeler transport through our logistics partners. Vehicles are transported on dedicated car carriers (not driven). This is quoted separately from the household goods move. Let us know during the survey and we'll include it in your quote.
Our drivers carry all necessary documentation — vehicle permits, goods receipt, and company authorisation letters. We handle all toll and checkpoint formalities. You don't need to worry about any paperwork or delays at state borders.
